Lisa Hoffman's determined to convince partner Math to leave rural Wales behind and start a new life with their young daughter on the other side of the world. Although she's never been, she's convinced Australia would offer the family a better future and a more adventurous life. 

Math wants the best for his family but can't imagine what Australia could offer that they don't already have at home, and he's reluctant to leave the Welsh-speaking community where he grew up. On a trial week in Brisbane, however, Math is enthralled by the houses they could possibly afford - but will that be enough to convince him to move halfway around the world?
