Photographer Nigel Millard explains why he became a volunteer crew member while working with the RNLI, plus a review of Eric Steel's documentary Kiss the Water.

Christos Tsiolkas, bestselling author of 'The Slap' is back with 'Barracuda' which examines both class and sexual confusion through the eyes of Daniel Kelly. Janice talks to the author himself. Feature length documentary 'Kiss the Water' by Eric Steel ('The Bridge') examines the life of Megan Boyd - a woman who dedicated her life to the art of salmon fly-making. Pasquale Iannone and Amy Hardie review the film which was a big hit at last year's EIFF. A new pop-up photography exhibition in Edinburgh about the RNLI caught our attention this week. Photographer Nigel Millard became so fascinated by the lifeboat association whilst taking photos of the crew that he decided to become a volunteer. He's here to tell us more. In light of 2014's pantone colour being announced as Radiant Orchid we examine branding and the power of colour. Janice finds out what that means to advertisers and the fashion industry as well as to the man on the street. Plus comedian Alex Horne creator and host of the potent comedy music show The Horne Section drops by for a chat whilst he's in town for two Scottish gigs.
