Norma Jean dreams of a better life for her family in Australia, but will a week in Adelaide persuade her partner to leave his beloved Newcastle United behind for good?

Nurse Norma Jean believes a better future awaits her young family in Australia, even though she has never been there. But partner Steven wants to stay at home, where he is surrounded by close friends, family and his beloved Newcastle United. 

When the couple spend a week in Adelaide sampling Australian property, work and lifestyle opportunities, Steven begins to understand the appeal of a life down under, but will that be enough to persuade him to give up everything he holds dear in the North East?
