We've a festive treat in store as Brian Limond aka Limmy drops in for a chat with Janice ahead of the Christmas special of his BAFTA award winning show.

The 21st December marks the 100th anniversary of the crossword puzzle. And as part of the celebrations writer Alan Connor has published a book about the history and art of the puzzle - 'Two Girls, One on Each Knee'. He'll be joining us to explain the title, amongst other things!

A sketch starring Rowan Atkinson as a fictional Archbishop of Canterbury has been named the most complained about TV moment of the year so far. Reviewer Jane Graham will discuss what makes people complain, and whether it makes a difference to TV content.

The Peatlands of Lewis might not seem like an obvious place to find artistic inspiration - but the artists involved in the Sexy Peat project, which aims to highlight the environmental and social importance of the Peatlands are hoping to change all that. Murray Roberston and John McNaught will be on hand to tell us more.

We're all becoming used to being able to buy cheap and cheerful clothes for our children. Someone hoping to persuade us to change our shopping habits and buy with the longer term in mind is Matt Cooper, the man behind ethical children's clothing label, The Fableists. The Herald's fashion expert, Carrie McAdam will also be on hand.

This is the time of year when some of us might don our best tartan attire and take to the dance floor for an evening of Scottish Country Dancing. A documentary to be aired later this month on BBC One tells the story behind the Scottish Country Dancing Society, which is 90 years old. Enthusiastic advocate for the activity Lorn MacIntyre will be joining Janice.
