We are with Paralympic Gold medalist Mallory Weggemann who raised $50,000 to fund a revolutionary set of carbon-fibre legs and give her the ability to walk again.

Gold medal winning swimmer Mallory Weggemann from the US was paralysed from the waist down when a routine pain-killing injection had catastrophic consequences when she was 19. She's raised $50,000 to fund a revolutionary set of carbon-fibre leg braces that would give her limited mobility without the need for a wheelchair. In an interview we talk to her about walking again. 

Korea Progression 
The International Paralympic Committee General Assembly welcomed its newest full member North Korea this week and we were there to find out more. Being involved in the Paralympic movement has improved the lives of disabled people in the North after years of denial and these improvements have been aided by the South.

Concerned about a breakdown in society a group of young people set up a street basketball game to give focus to those unemployed. 'Ghetto Games' was so successful it is now expanding through Latvia and Russia offering disaffected youth the opportunity to develop their athletic and social skills.
