British designer Sir Paul Smith, Tamara Mellon - the woman behind Jimmy Choo, and Micky Drexler of J. Crew give tips on building a successful brand.

Today Business Daily meets some of the most charismatic characters in the most glamorous industry on earth - fashion. On the programme, the 'Merchant Prince', the man who transformed Gap into a multi-billion-dollar global mega-brand. 'Mickey' Drexler grew up in the Bronx and tells us about the gut instinct that he says has driven his success.  

Meanwhile Paul Smith was not remotely interested in fashion as a child. He wanted to be a racing cyclist. So how did he become Britain's most successful menswear designer?  

And what about Tamara Mellon? It was her eye for hard-edged glamour and a sharp heel that turned an East London cobbler named Jimmy Choo into most desirable footwear brand on earth.
