This year’s Reith Lectures, given by the artist Grayson Perry, have attracted a lot of attention. The lectures were commissioned by Radio 4’s Mohit Bakaya, who discusses their themes of art and value with Gillian Raymond from rural Tanzania, who found them entertaining but disappointing. 

Plus – what will listeners make of the new cross-platform programme, Trending?  One of its presenters, Anne-Marie Tomchak, explains how an innovative mix of radio and online video is being used to report on what’s trending on social media around the world.
