Tom Morton plays a selection of rock and pop music including tracks featuring Scottish singer and songwriter Jimmy Somerville of Bronski Beat and The Communards fame in Local Hero.

Tom Morton opens his record bag to play the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world. Listeners nominate a song or band to take them around the globe and the presenter introduces a song to toast Last Orders and in the Local Hero segment Tom plays tracks featuring Scottish pop singer and songwriter Jimmy Somerville (of Bronski Beat, The Communards and solo career fame).
