Advice for listeners around the world about how to write a play as the World Service launches its annual search for global writing talent - the International Radio Playwriting Competition. Drama producer Marion Nancarrow offers her tips for new writers.  

We hear from the British Council, one of the partners in the competition, now in its 24th year, as well as finding out about a new prize, the Georgi Markov award.  Plus, a listener takes issue with the presenter of Crossing Continents recent programme about Venezuela’s economy about the way he described the outcome of elections in that country.
