Vampire Weekend are in session, plus Lauren announces the first of five live acts playing at Maida Vale in October.

New York City's finest and 6 Music favourites Vampire Weekend are in session. Ezra Koenig and friends returned earlier in the year with their third album 'Modern Vampires of the City' and today they'll be playing tracks from it. Not to be missed.

Lauren also announces the first of five live music acts as BBC Radio 6 Music prepares its return to Maida Vale next month. It'll be a week full of guests and live music of epic proportions and you have the chance to be there.
