Johnnie Walker speaks to Andy Scott of seventies glam-rockers The Sweet.

Johnnie meets Andy Scott, of The Sweet, to cover the band's string of glitter-dusted glam-rock seventies hits.

Johnnie Walker celebrates the decade of Lofty, Parky and Gunner Graham.
This week he's in conversation with Andy Scott, guitarist for glam-rock heroes The Sweet. Fuelled by the songwriting partnership of Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman, the band would have nearly twenty top forty hits during the seventies including Blockbuster, The Ballroom Blitz and Hell Raiser. Together with Johnny, Andy will cover how it felt to be in the middle of the glam whirlwind at the height of their success in the decade.
Also on the show, the very first edition of the Old Grey Whistle Test will be revisited with sounds from the BBC archive and another classic single will be loaded into Johnnie's Jukebox.
