Apple launches its latest smartphone models - the iPhone 5S and the cheaper 5C model. Plus, the first Chinese cargo ship to negotiate the Arctic Circle arrives in Europe.

Smartphone giant Apple launches its latest iPhone models - the iPhone 5S, with fingerprint technology, and the cheaper iPhone 5C. But will they fly off the shelves like other Apple products? Will they be enough to recover some of the ground lost to Samsung? 

Also, we talk to our correspondent in Washington about the latest diplomacy around Syria, ahead of US President Obama's speech to the American people making his case for military action. And, what impact will there be on global shipping and trade now that the first Chinese commercial vessel has negotiated the Northeast Passage through the Arctic Circle to Europe?
