"Buddy’s Songs“ recorded by other artists to mark what would have been his 77th birthday.

Geoff marks the anniversary with an hour of “Buddy’s Songs“ – but in the hands of other artistes, including The Everly Brothers, Carl Perkins, Billy Fury and Imelda May.

This Saturday would have been Buddy Holly’s 77th birthday, so in the second half of the show, Geoff marks the anniversary with an hour of “Buddy’s Songs“ – but in the hands of other artistes, including The Everly Brothers, Carl Perkins, Billy Fury, Imelda May and many more.  In the first hour, Geoff marks the 10th anniversary of the death of Johnny Cash and also looks back to the classic Rock ‘n’ Roll movie “American Graffiti” which is 40 years old this month, with some of the Rock ‘n’ Roll classics from the soundtrack.
