A Prom in which Marin Alsop conducts the OAE in music by Brahms and Schumann.

with Louise Fryer and another chance to hear Rachel Harnisch and Henk Neven joining the OAE and Marin Alsop at the BBC Proms with one of the greats of the choral repertoire - Brahms's German Requiem - and orchestral works by Brahms and Schumann.

and that's followed at approx 3.55pm by the Mahler Chamber Orchestra's recent BBC Proms performance of Sibelius's Seventh Symphony conducted by Daniel Harding.
