Russia has been criticised by many for its treatment of gay people. Will they be welcome?

The BBC’s Daniel Stanford explains the latest situation. We speak to Blake Skellerup, an openly gay New Zealand speed skater - a medal favourite in Sochi - and Patrick Burke founder of You Can Play, a campaign group for the eradication of homophobia in sport.

Old Trafford Double 
On the weekend of the Ashes test at Old Trafford we speak to the only man to have played professional cricket for Lancashire and professional football for Manchester United. Freddie Goodwin tells us about his double life, how being out of form saved him from the horror of the Munich air disaster and how Sir Matt Busby eventually made him chose between the two sports.
