Tibetan children are sent to India to attend a school to try and preserve their culture.

The Mussorie school in India was founded by the Tibetan government and is home to about 2000 orphans sent in hope of keeping Tibetan culture alive.

The Mussorie school of Northern India has been founded by the Tibetan government in exile and is a refuge for about 2000 orphans. Each year parents take the drastic decision to secretly send their children from China to India to attend the school in the hope of keeping their Tibetan culture alive.
