Anna Magnusson witnesses Transhumance 2013, a cavalcade of livestock which brought a whiff of ancient times and forest paths to the streets of Vieux Port in Marseille. This wasn't just performance art to draw the crowds - it also harks back to a rural tradition which has happened for centuries across Europe.
