An entertaining new documentary series which follows sixteen strangers as they embark on a unique and touching journey to find love. 

Eight single men from the rolling hills of Devon travel to a remote coastal town in The Highlands of Scotland. Here they meet eight single women who, just like the men, have experienced the same frustrations and disappointments when trying to find love locally.

Two 'matchmakers' - one from each community - will be joining the group on their journey - helping these romantically rusty men and women aged between 30 and 60 years, find what they are looking for. But will they suceed?

In this episode, 39 year old Vanessa doesn't hide her disappointment when the matchmakers arrange a date for her with 54 year old chief fire officer Stuart. Meanwhile, 55 year old Barbara thinks it's very unlikely that she has found her soul mate in single dad Glyn.
