Programme two focusses on Salvador, which stages the World Cup draw later in the year.

Jason Mohammed and former international stars Martin Keown, Mark Lawrenson and Kevin Kilbane bring three Football Focus shows to the BBC World News screens from across Brazil. In-depth previews and match analysis to the games featuring Brazil, Spain, Uruguay, Italy, Mexico, Japan, Nigeria and Tahiti. Including interviews with Gerard Pique, Gianluigi Buffon and other competing stars. 

Presentation comes from across the country, with the final show presented from the iconic Copacabana beach, as Rio plays host to the Final of the 2013 Confederations Cup.

BBC South American football correspondent Tim Vickery will provide his unique take through-out the tournament with regular contributions to Football Focus and there will be a blend of match previews, football chat and Brazilian colour within the shows. There will also be a special in-depth feature from the island of Tahiti, as the smallest country in the competition look to upset the odds.
