Camera Obscura are live in session playing tracks from their new album Desire Lines. This is the bands 5th album after forming in 1996 in Glasgow. The album took 4 years to make; written in Glasgow the band then travelled to Portland, Oregon to work with producer Tucker Martine (REM, My Morning Jacket). They returned a month later to finish it, enlisting the vocal talents of Neko Case and My Morning Jacket's Jim James. 

Lauren takes a closer look at the best of the day's releases in New Music Monday. Plus, some brilliant free music in MPFree and take some time to enjoy a rather fabulous Headphone Moment.
