Gilles is joined by US RnB singer Janelle Monae, who talks about collaborating with Erykah Badu on the single Queen and the release of her sophomore album.

Gilles is joined by US R&B singer, Janelle Monae, who recently collaborated with Erykah Badu on the single QUEEN ahead of her hotly anticipated sophomore album, The Electric Lady.
Having grown up in Kansas and studied in New York, it was a chance encounter with Outkast's Big Boi in Atlanta, which proved key in her being discovered. Big Boi discussed her talents with Bad Boy Records boss, Sean Combs who swiftly checked her out and signed her to his label, and her debut album, The ArchAndroid earned her a Grammy nomination.

There's the Secret Waltz Club, with one of John Coltrane's finest works, the Do Over featuring a 1970s Turkish protest song and underground hip hop from Percee P, plus new music from Disclosure, Blludd Relations, Todd Terje, Thundercat and Pusha T alongside classics from Donna Summer, Photek and Dennis Brown.
