A special tribute to one of the founder members of Bill Haley's Comets, Marshall Lytle.

This week’s Rock ‘n’ Rock party includes a special tribute to one of the founder members of Bill Haley’s Comets who recently passed away – Marshall Lytle.  He played the rhythmic slap-bass on all the early hits, including of course “Rock Around The Clock”.  The Comets played the West many times since re-forming in 1989 and Geoff interviewed them often.  Using this exclusive archive audio, Geoff tells Marshall’s story and the birth of Rock ‘n’ Roll.  Plus of course, contributions from other members of the band, including a fond tribute from Comet’s drummer Dick Richards, recorded only this week.
