Travel writer Sylvain Tesson has travelled across the Himalayas and from Siberia to India on foot - but his new book, Consolations of the Forest, saw him head to a cabin in the woods on the shores of Lake Baikal - to stay in solitude for six months - he tells Janice why he decided to escape modern life...

We hear about Irish theatre company Blue Raincoat's take on the stage adaptation of Flann O'Brien's satirical novel The Poor Mouth from director Niall Henry.
