This week's featured Album comes from New York drummer Jaimeo Brown, who samples early African-American spirituals on his 'Transcendence' album, combining it with jazz. Plus there's a Do Over, 1 sample used over 3 different decades, featuring the JBs, Public Enemy and Hyperdub label boss Kode9. There's new music from Ghostface Killah, Thundercat, The Heliocentrics, Ras G, a remix of Laura Mvula and next week's live guest, Valerie June, alongside classics from Ella Fitzgerald, NERD, and The Stranglers.
