Richard Hawley celebrates Rockabilly music featuring Buddy Holly and Elmore James.

Richard plays the Queen of Rockabilly Wanda Jackson, plus Buddy Holly, Elmore James, Big Mama Thornton, Bobby Fuller Four, Danny Wolfe, Jimmy Carroll and Elvis Presley.

Richard Hawley delves into his own vast collection of vinyl records to celebrate rockabillies inspirations including R&B, country, blues, hillbilly, honky tonk and rock & roll.

Richard also recounts some great stories from his own experiences, from shopping with his dad in Sheffield record stores as a kid, to later in life getting to know legends of the genre such as Duane Eddy.

In week five of the series, Richard kicks off with the Queen of Rockabilly Wanda Jackson, plus Buddy Holly, Elmore James, Big Mama Thornton, Bobby Fuller Four, Danny Wolfe, Jimmy Carroll, Elvis Presley, Carl Mann and Lavern Baker.
