This weekend saw another shooting in Luton. A 16-year-old boy was found with a gunshot wound to his back, he's now in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

Iain asks the Assistant Chief Constable of Bedfordshire Police whether they are doing enough to prevent gun crime in the town. 

Smoking when you’re pregnant - expectant mothers will be asked to take breath tests to prove if they are smoking during their pregnancy.

An estimated 20% of women smoke while expecting, which is believed to lead to a low birth weight for their babies.

Iain speaks to David Atherton from the right-to-smoke organisation Freedom To Choose, who says there’s no evidence that smoking causes these complications in pregnancy. 

Hatfield’s now infamous £27,000 portable stage - brought with the Portas Prize winnings money - made its first appearance on Saturday afternoon for "Folkstock" - a free acoustic music concert held in the Town Centre.
