Fraud investigators look into the case of a new father who was left holding the baby.

Series looking at benefit fraud. Thurrock council helped a new father who was left holding the baby when his wife left him. But investigators discover all is not as it seems.

When a new father was dumped by his wife and left holding their newborn baby, his local council Thurrock was there to give him a helping hand with benefits. But all was not as it seemed, as fraud investigators soon discovered. 

And we meet Christian, a young person who, after leaving school into a recession, struggled to find paid work and who, after his original apprenticeship fell through, faced the prospect of signing-on.
