The guest mix this week comes courtesy of the San Francisco female trio Grass Widow, described by the New Yorker as: the post-punk band, who inspire, as its pastoral harmonies float effortlessly over trellises of spindly guitars. Grass Widow are a female three trio formed in 2007. They are signed to Kill Rock Stars, one of the most respected independent labels in America. The KRS roster has long been dominated by energetic, female-fronted bands, making Grass Widow a perfect fit. Tom will also be spinning another Grubby 45, vibe mapping with vibe forecasts from around the country, and playing a tune that one of you discovered in a charity shop in the Charity Drop.
