African Music 
Nii Ayi Tagoe from Accra's JOY FM station,  SAFM's Michelle Constant in Johannesburg and Jared Ombui from KBC in Nairobi pick their muscial highlights from 2012. 

North American Film and Books
Kurt Andersen, who presents the weekly arts and culture programme Studio 360, broadcast on National Public Radio in the US and Jian Ghomeshi who hosts "Q" a daily arts programme on the Canadian broadcaster CBC with their picks from 2012.
