Are disability hate crimes being taken seriously enough? Figures show the number of prosecutions has fallen, despite promises by the police to take the issue more seriously.

Victoria hears from victims of disability hate crimes - and the police dealing with them - about whether the issue is being taken seriously enough. It comes as figures show the number of people prosecuted for hate crimes against disabled people has fallen by fourteen percent -despite promises from the Crown Prosecution Service to take the problem more seriously - and the number of reported incidents staying roughly the same.
