Fiona Talkington introduces music from last year's London Jazz Festival, including the Yaron Herman Quartet playing music by Nirvana, and pianist Kit Downes improvising with Swedish cellist Fred Lindberg Holm; Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan recorded in concert in Paris in 1985, and The Jimi Hendrix Experience in session for the BBC in 1967.

Live music and the arts: broadcasts more live music than any other radio network. Classical music is its core. Genres include world and new music, jazz, speech and drama.
