Romantic comedy. With Christmas approaching, a struggling artist working as a waitress (Melissa Joan Hart) determines to bring home the perfect boyfriend - even if it is a crime.

Unlucky in life and love, waitress Trudie Chandler takes the holidays - and the law - into her own hands when, unable to brave Christmas with her family as a single woman, Trudie kidnaps restaurant customer David Martin and introduces him to her family as her boyfriend...
