Mike presents his usual impeccable selection of the very best in folk, roots and acoustic music, including an interview with Irish-American singer Cathie Ryan.

Cathie Ryan is Mike's guest this week, a singer and musician, who has just released her brand new album, Through Wind and Rain.

Cathie talks to Mike about growing up in Detroit's Irish community, about the Dingle sessions which convinced her to get back in the studio, and about the benefits of singing in the Irish language.
