Highlights of the year from around the world.  In today’s programme, some of the most interesting stories from the United States. Presented by Pascale Harter.

This week, another chance to hear some of the best stories of the year as From Our Own Correspondent travels around the world.  
Perhaps the biggest story of the year was the election, but by voting day, even many Americans were sick of the campaigning.  Jonny Dymond sent us a different take on the process from small-town Indiana.
