Series looking for the country's best young cook. Four cooks try to perfect John's profiteroles, before cooking international favourites such as chicken goujons and Moroccan lamb.

Another four cooks must impress MasterChef judge John Torode and food blogger and cook Donal Skehan to win a quarter-final place. Can they prepare John's profiteroles perfectly? Whose choux buns will be puffed-up and full to bursting? Will the chocolate sauce be grainy or velvety smooth? 

Then it's round the world with their favourites, including chicken goujons, Jamaican saltfish and Moroccan lamb. Another appetising contest!
