Janice Forsyth talks to film critic and writer David Thomson about his book The Big Screen, plus critics review Argo, directed by and starring Ben Affleck.

ARGO , directed by and starring Ben Affleck, is an ambitious film about the 1979 Iranian hostage crisis and as been hailed as one of this year's best films. Critics Siobhan Synnot and Stephen Carty review. 

Janice talks to David Thomson, one of the most revered and knowledgeable film critics on the planet, about his latest book 'The Big Screen' which charts the movies and what they did to us.

It's 1968, and four young, talented Australian Aboriginal girls learn about love, friendship and war when their all girl group 'THE SAPPHIRES' entertain the US troops in Vietnam. We hear from one of the stars of the film (and winner of Australian Idol) Jessica Mauboy.

Janice and our resident critics review RUST AND BONE which charts the improbable relationship between a bare-knuckle fighter and an orca whale trainer when they are brought together after a tragedy.

The DVD Pick of the Week is 'Your Sister's Sister' a comedy about romance, grief and sibling rivalry.
