Kaye Adams asks whether Scotland will lose out if Trident goes.

Defence secretary Phillip Hammond has claimed that up to 8000 jobs could be lost in Faslane if Trident is withdrawn. Kaye asks whether Scotland would lose out if Trident goes.

UK Defence Secretary Philip Hammond has said it would be "irresponsible" to get rid of the UK's nuclear deterrent. On Monday he visited the naval base at Faslane where he said up to 8,000 jobs could be lost from the area if Trident goes. Kaye Adams asks if Scotland will be the losers if Trident nuclear subs are withdrawn from the West of Scotland base.

The police investigation into the Jimmy Savile scandal has made its first arrest. Former pop star Gary Glitter was questioned over the weekend and released on bail, as part of Operation Yewtree. With the number of allegations against the late TV star climbing above 300, questions are being asked about what lessons can learned. Kaye asks how can we try and protect children from sexual abuse - a hard hitting campaign, closer vetting of parents, sport and community groups, helplines or does the answer lie in education? Or is there a danger of become overly paranoid and suspicious of anyone working with children? 

And a training course has been launched in Holland to help people scared of Highland cattle after one charged at a man. The coos are used by the local water board in Noord-Holland to munch their way through the plants and shrubs on the Dunes. Kaye speaks to the park ranger running classes to hear how she helps people get 'acquainted' with the beasts.
