Joe meets a woman who has plans to reconfigure her empty 1930s semi-detached home.

Property series. Joe Crowley meets Yvonne Ingley, who has plans to reconfigure her 1930s semi-detached home, but is desperate for some inspiration on how to best use the space.

In this episode Joe meets Yvonne Ingley, who has recently taken up the challenge of reviving a 1930s semi-detached home. She's got big plans to reconfigure the empty property, but is desperate for some inspiration as to how to best use the space. Joe takes her to meet a couple who have completely remodelled a bungalow leaving them with a home they are very happy with.

We find out about a new training scheme that offers apprenticeships for young people while carrying out maintenance work on empty properties so that they can be lived in once again. We also join an empty property officer as he continues his quest to get vacant homes back on their feet again.

Joe Crowley reveals the great potential that vacant places can offer in terms of budget and lifestyle, and follows the work of the nation's empty property officers.
