Lawrence Arabia pays a visit to Media City in Salford for a live session following the release of his third album, Sparrow.

Lawrence Arabia pays us a visit to Media City in Salford for a live as you like Session. His third album, Sparrow, has just been released on the Bella Union Label.

In late 2011, with Elroy Finn and Connan Mockasin, Lawrence recorded the basic tracks for these new songs, live, at a large house in Surrey that became known as the Japanese Academy. Strings and horn overdubs were added in a couple of sessions at Auckland's Roundhead Studios. The Sparrow was produced and mixed by Lawrence Arabia.

With that sort of pedigree we can't wait to hear the band on the show ...
