Kay McClement tells Pennie Latin why she is so passionate about Jampionships, the world jam championships, which are taking place in Perthshire and she shares her enthusiasm for spreading the word, not just about jam-making but about protecting the region's fruit-growing heritage.

John Beattie talks about his love of Indonesian food, having spent much of his childhood in Borneo and Malaysia and Edinburgh-based Indonesian Rudi Samson reads "Eating Together", a poem by Li-Young Lee which highlights the relevance of family and food for Indonesians. The poem is part of the Poetry 2012 - The Written World, a BBC collaboration with The Scottish Poetry Library, creating a unique picture of the nations of the world in verse.
