Celebrities have just 10 minutes to make a tomato bruschetta that impresses the judges.

Holby's Laila Rouass, singer Gareth Gates, actor George Layton and author and actress Emma Kennedy join the second round with a Mystery Box test and a tomato bruschetta trial.

The hunt for Celebrity MasterChef 2012 continues as four new celebrity contestants join the competition. Competing in this second week of heats are Holby City actress Laila Rouass, singer Gareth Gates, actor George Layton and author and actress Emma Kennedy.

The first challenge for this week's four hopefuls is a Mystery Box test; the infamous test of imagination and creativity in which the celebrities are presented with a range of ingredients. Tonight's Mystery Box contents include a whole pigeon, puy lentils and rhubarb. With nerves running high and just 50 minutes to cook their dish, the celebrities must think on their feet to impress the judges.

But there's no time for complacency, as the contestants face their second challenge for the day - a daunting skills test in which they are tasked with making a tomato bruschetta in only 10 minutes. With the clock ticking and the pressure on to impress the judges, can the celebrities deliver?
