London-based DJ crew The Heatwave bring the bashment sounds of carnival to the 6 Mix as part of 6 Music Celebrates 50 Years of Jamaican Independence.

As part of 6 Music Celebrates 50 Years of Jamaican Independence, London-based DJ crew The Heatwave bring their bashment sounds of carnival to the 6 Mix. 

The Heatwave have played raves all over the world and are the team behind the Hot Wuk parties which have torn up dancefloors across the UK. Their sound ties together Jamaica and the UK with the group having worked with big artists in the scene, such as Sticky, Ward 21, Serocee, Lady Chann, Natalie Storm and YT.

In this show, The Heatwave take to the 6 Mix decks to play two hours of the freshest bashment and dancehall, bringing a full on carnival to the 6 Music studios.
