Dr Éamon Phoenix is in County Donegal exploring the Laggan Valley and the romantic Inishowen Peninsula.  This fascinating landscape has had a conflicted history and was heavily planted with Lowland Scots settlers during the Plantation of Ulster.  Éamon explores some of the forts, castles, planter towns and historic sites of this northern realm of Ulster.

In this second series of Hidden History, Dr Éamon Phoenix once again journeys through some of Ulster's hidden highways and byways uncovering aspects of Ulster-Scots history.  

In County Down, he travels to Dundonald village and Greyabbey; in County Antrim, he explores the scenic Antrim Coast Road from Carrickfergus to Glenarm.  Programme 3 sees Éamon in South Belfast visiting Drumbeg and the textile village of Dunmurry.  The fourth programme takes in the beautiful Inishowen Peninsula; and Programme 5 is based in County Londonderry, from Downhill to the ancient walled city.  The final programme in this series explores Hidden History in County Fermanagh.
