Nicky started by asking: Is Spain the greatest team ever?

Last night they beat Italy 4-0 and became the first country to win three major championships back to back. So is Spain the greatest team ever?

Are Spain the "greatest team ever?"

How would they have fared against the Brazil team of 1970?  What about the German team of 2012 on full power..?  At points in their history have Liverpool or Manchester United..Or Arsenal perhaps, EVER had the kind of brilliance that could have beaten a team like Spain?

Nicky changed his question half way through the hour after the Ministry of Defence confirmed that the three Nato soldiers that were killed by a gunman in a police uniform in Southern Afghanistan, were British.  Nicky asked 'Is the future of Afghanistan worth the price our troops are paying?'.
