Killer Joe - With the Edinburgh International Film Festival finally upon us, the respected director, William Friedkin discusses the film that kicks it all off - his shockingly cool, controversial and brutal, black comedy, 'Killer Joe.' 


Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - Film Critic Nigel Floyd discusses this, intriguing and strange, story of how Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, discovers vampires are planning to take over the United States! He makes it his mission to eliminate them. Starring Dominic Cooper, Benjamin Walker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Rufus Sewell it's released in the UK this week. 

Zombies in Paisley - For several weeks, the cameras have been rolling in Ferguslie Park in Paisley as young people in the area star in a horror film which they've written and acted in. The project has cost around twenty thousand pounds - the bulk of which is money which has been recovered through the Scottish Government's 'Proceeds of Crime Act'. Our reporter Bob Dickson's been finding out, how the aim of the project is to raise the hopes and aspirations of the local community.
