Scotland's top classical musicians are in the studio with Jamie MacDougall.

Scotland's top classical musicians are in the studio with Jamie MacDougall. Pianist Steven Osborne and the Maxwell String Quartet play live and Nicola is on the line from New York.

Acclaimed pianist Steven Osborne plays Debussy's children's corner live in the studio and talks about his BBC SSO concert this Thursday. Up and coming young string quartet the Maxwells, Junior Fellows at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland perform live a selection of music from their current tour of the country. Plus Nicola Benedetti's Spring from Vivaldi's four seasons, recorded for the BBC at a concert with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra two weeks ago- Nicola phones in from New York to talk about it.
