Janice Forsyth discusses edgy greetings cards with funny card designers, finds out how to pull using humour and explores the world of dating shows and cheesy chat up lines.

As it's Friday the 13th we find out about some of the more unusual superstitions from around the world.

The co-founders of Brainbox Candy tell us why people find edgy greetings cards so funny, and how they come up with ideas and designs for them. Ewan John, a former comedian who writes greeting cards joins in the conversation to tell us why they appeal to us now more than traditional cards.

The deadline for the Fringe is upon us. Why do comedians put themselves through the expensive and stressful process just for a place at the Fringe? Julia Sutherland interviews Fringe organisers and comedians and asks her peers about how they come up with material for their shows. 

Ewan and Suzie John - a former comedian and a composer who met online join Janice to discuss how a sense of humour benefits a courting couple in modern society.
