The first of four concerts this week given by dynamic British violinist Nicola Benedetti and friends at LSO St Luke's in London. Today, joined by pianist Alexei Grynyuk, she performs two works by Ravel - his passionate Tzigane and his bluesy 2nd Violin Sonata, as well as Richard Strauss's sumptuous Sonata in E flat major.
