Ten shy children who love to sing are put through their paces by choirmaster Gareth Malone. As the tour ends, the choristers reflect on how the experience has affected them.

From the first lesson, Gareth realised just how much his ten choristers wanted to hide in the background. With just a matter of months to boost their confidence, he gave them increasingly difficult performance challenges - starting by getting them to sing karaoke duets in front of each other, and working up to their final performance to the nation on Children In Need night. 

Along the way, Gareth threw them into a variety of tasks to improve their confidence, including dancing, acting and even TV presenting. Each challenge saw a different musical theme with Gareth choosing one singer from the group to try out for the solo spot - the opportunity to start off the whole performance on Children in Need night. 

So as the tour comes to an end, were they able to live up to expectations performing to the whole country on live television, and how has the experience affected their lives back home?
