Mahira fled her home country of Iraq and sought asylum here in the UK. Investigators now suspect she has been using false identities to steal thousands from the benefit system - creating a property empire and putting her son through private school at the expense of the taxpayer.

And Dom meets Dee and her daughter, who faced having to make a new life for themselves in the UK after leaving Portugal following the breakdown of her marriage. With no money to tide them over, getting a job and a place to call their own was a struggle. But help was at hand in the form of a local housing association.
